It is an excellent pathway for junior lecturers of our sister schools in Southeast Asia to pursue a Ph.D. degree at IPPAS of NPTU. Graduates of the IPPAS program will be expected to specialize in cross-field scientific research and technological applications, and be competitive on the job markets in various areas.

In addition to the purpose of cultivating students' interdisciplinary professional capabilities in scientific research and applications, the IPPAS program also develops students’ R&D capabilities and global mobility during their studies at NPTU.

Bridging the academy and industry, the College of Science has established good cooperative relationships with the Tainan Science Park, Luzhu Science Park, Kaohsiung Software Technology Park, and many industries in Southeast Asia, allowing our graduates to outreach the world.

本應用科學國際博士班的畢業生專長於跨領域科學研究與技術應用，畢業後就業市場非常寬廣。

除了培育畢業生科學研究與應用跨領域的專業能力，更兼具高階研發能力及國際移動力，與台南科學園區、路竹科學園區、高雄軟體科學園區及境外東南亞產業界，均建立良好的產學合作關係與國際接軌。

因此，本博士班的國外學生未來職涯發展，除了本校在東南亞姊妹校的碩士級教師來進修使其學術成長外；國際博士班學生亦得成為國內外高科技產業所需之國際高級專業人才。
